Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have been going out for a long time now. The two have never looked more comfortable with each other than they do now and their love has always proven that the sparks between them hold a lot of value. Their relationship is a sight to behold with the two finding love in each other after their past marriages proved to be difficult.
As the two progress both in their professional and personal lives, their relationship too grows gradually and beautifully. However, when asked about a future together, perhaps even marriage with or without each other in the picture; both the actors had their paths set.
Channing Tatum Might Not Get Married In The Future
Channing Tatum went through a divorce in 2019 from his ex-wife Jenna Dewan. The two were married for almost a decade and even have a daughter together. Unfortunately, they called it quits after a long span. Zoë Kravitz too got married to Karl Glusman in 2020 and got divorced a year later. Tatum and Kravitz were officially seen together only hours after her divorce and have been dating since then. When the Magic Mike actor was asked about a future together and marriage, his answer had been simple yet understandable.
“Relationships are hard for me. Even though I am a bit of a monogamist. In business, I have no real fear of anything being destroyed. But heart things, when it comes to people I love, I have a really hard time. I end up trying too hard, you know?”
Both he and Kravitz have similar views on marriage, however, they both have different reasons. The actor has been traumatized by his previous marriage and does not think he could ever put his heart through all of that once again. The Batman actress, on the other hand, sees the goal of domestic life in the future as not being as important. She further stated that she wants to focus more on her current life and career and does not think of marriage as an end goal.
Channing Tatum Got Disturbed By His Previous Marriage
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan first met in 2006 during the filming of Step Up and got married in 2009 after a 3-year-long relationship. Their marriage lasted for about a decade and they even welcomed their baby daughter, Everly, in 2013.
“There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives possible. We are still a family and will always be loving, dedicated parents to Everly.”
Unfortunately, the marriage led to divorce in 2019 upon mutual agreement. Tatum confirmed that his love for Dewan had never faded or changed even by the slightest, but he knew that it was time to move on and find happiness elsewhere so that both he and Jenna Dewan could thrive in their individual lives.
