The world of Hollywood has had tons of actors who have not been able to keep up with the pressure of being a movie star for long. In such cases, these once-budding actors sometimes turn towards substance abuse to cope with the industry’s expectations, but Jada Pinkett Smith had a completely different approach.
Jada Pinkett Smith says that she instead used to be addicted to s*x as she thought it would solve everything.
Jada Pinkett Smith Was Addicted To S*x When She Was Younger
Not all of life’s problems can be solved by money, that Jada Pinkett Smith knows. But her younger self can totally vouch for s*x as a way to escape from all problems in life, no matter how big or small they may be.
The wife of actor Will Smith revealed the eye-catching news to her fans and the world 4 years ago during an episode of her viral Facebook Watch chat show Red Table Talk–
“My sort of addictions jump, they jump around. When I was younger, I definitely think I had a s*x addiction of some kind, yes, that everything could be fixed by s*x.”
She further explains that time of her life-
“I am a binger, and I always have to watch myself and I can just get obsessed with things. It’s not what you’re doing but how you’re with it. Why you’re doing it. It’s the behavior that’s attached to it because if you want to have a lot of s*x, that’s great, but why are you having all that s*x? That’s what you’ve got to look at.”
Almost anything in copious amounts is not good for anyone’s health, and fans would be glad to know that the Collateral star showed a healthy approach to dealing with her addiction to s*x.
Jada Pinkett Smith Was Also Addicted To Po*n
Addiction can get to anyone, even the biggest of movie stars. Jada Pinkett Smith was quite addicted to s*x as she said, but that’s not where the list of addictions end for the 51-year-old talk show host.
During an episode of Red Table Talk that aired back in 2019, Jada talked about her “unhealthy relationship” with po*n-
“I will say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to po*n. At one point in my life I was trying to practice abstinence.”
Much to her relief, Jada says that she’s happy she wasn’t in a relationship during that time of her life-
“I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a po*rn addiction, believe it or not. Thank goodness.”
When you’re open to talking about such sensitive topics to a crowd of thousands of people, you know you’re getting comfortable with moving on from your past. More power to you Jada Pinkett Smith!
