Sandra Bullock won an Oscar in 2010 for her incredible performance in her movie The Blind Side, and shortly after her mega win, her whirlwind romance ended with her former husband Jesse James as rumors lava fueled on the internet that her partner had cheated on her.
In a candid interview with In Depth With Graham Bensinger, James opened up about his divorce from Bullock and shared that he was heartbroken to lose the custody of their son Louis whom they had adopted before their split.
He said,
“I made mistakes and did stuff that I shouldn’t have. I handled the situation not the way that I should have. I got divorced and lost a kid I adopted because of it. Whether that’s fair, whether I should have lost a kid due to infidelity, which I don’t think anybody ever does. But I think with ‘Hollywood Law’, that’s totally fair.”
James continued,
“I messed up really bad on a global scale, and everybody knows it. I had to stand up in front of the media and take full account for what I did. I took it all. I told the truth and held myself accountable for what I did wrong and took 100 percent of it right on the chin.”
Sandra Bullock divorced Jesse James in 2010. Before their split, the former pair adopted their son Louis. Bullock is now a proud mother two her son and her daughter Laila whom she adopted in 2015 and raised with her late beloved partner Bryan Randall.
