Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is a recently released animated show by Marvel, focusing on the character of Lunella Lafayette from the comics. The show which airs on Disney Channel, received appreciation from both critics and audiences. In the 15th episode of the first season aired back in April, Cobie Smulders also lent her voice to the character. She is all set to return to the show as Hill in the upcoming season.

When Smulders spoke to Entertainment Weekly, she was asked if she would be seen as Maria Hill again in Marvel, to which she replied:

“I mean, I do not make those decisions. I’m still working on [Disney Channel’s] ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ animated show — I literally recorded some episodes today. So I have no idea how or when she’s going to come back around to me, but I’m always welcoming the call.”

The Robin Scherbatsky fame had a shocking death at the end of Secret Invasion’s Episode 1 after she was shot by the Skrull, Gravik. When she was asked about her potential live-action return, Cobie Smulders admitted that she doesn’t know anything about it. On the other hand, she showed active support towards the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur show and hopes for it to have a huge impact on the kids.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Cobie Smulders will be returning to her role of Maria Hill in The Marvels starring Brie Larson, Teyonah Paris, and Iman Vellani. But if the reports are to be believed, then the movie is set before the events of the Disney+ show.

It is very unlikely that we will spot the actress in the future, in the role of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent after the 41-year-old actress spoke about her character’s death to Vanity Fair, where she stated.

“It felt and it feels strange. Maria Hill’s passing is very real, and it’s shocking, and it feels very human. It was a sad day.”

New episodes of Secret Invasion can be streamed every Wednesday on Disney+, while The Marvels will be released on November 10, 2023. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur can be streamed on Disney+.
