Chris Pine Casually Munched on Locusts without Hearing Hugh Grant's Question about $213M Movie with Meryl Streep

James Corden invited Chris Pine and Hugh Grant to appear on his show, Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts, in March 2023. The two actors were promoting their movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves at that time, so the food was all medieval-inspired.

It is a show where the two players take turns asking each other questions. Players who refuse to answer questions are penalized by being asked to consume something truly disgusting on the table. The Star Trek actor, Pine, chose to eat locusts without even hearing the full question. What was the awkward question that Pine avoided?

The best way to get people to talk about an awkward truth is to offer them a variety of bizarre food items like congealed blood pudding, locusts, Vienna sausage ale, cow testicles, and bug porridge. And the host of the show, Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts, Corden offered the,e same things when Chris Pine and Hugh Grant joined his show.

Upon hearing the food options, Grant said, “I regret coming on your show”. While Pine was terrified of what was in store for him.

To begin the game, Grant was asked to name a Pine film that he disliked the most. The actor obviously dodged the question and chose to have sausage ale.

Now, here’s the question that you’ve all been waiting for. When it came to Pine’s turn, he was asked to rank his co-stars of Into the Woods, Anna Kendrick, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt. However, Pine began casually munching on locusts even before hearing the full question.

Pine made a remark while eating,

“I gotta tell ya, not bad. I f–king ate the locust, man”.

Later, he asked the show’s host who the worst guest had been so far. Corden obviously dodged the question, as he has more shows to do.

When asked about the movie he would like to take off his resume, Grant talked about shredding his IMDB page and CV. Giving reasons behind this, he said.

“I specialized in being bad for decades really. I got better,” he said. “As you know, as someone in the industry, it’s one thing to say I was bad but I can’t bring down the rest of my wonderful colleagues who worked with me on any film by saying it was bad … that’s my dilemma.”

He further named the 1988 movie The Lady and the Highwayman, saying that he was supposed to be sexy in the film, but got a terrible wig and ended up looking like Deputy Dawg, a cartoon character.

You can stream the movie, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on Paramount+.
