Evidently, the Sci-Tech Awards have a much warmer impression despite lacking the star power of the Academy Awards. In 2014, Margot Robbie had the opportunity to be a part of the Sci-Tech Awards and go up the podium to co-host the presentation with Miles Teller.

The pair got branded as a comedic team, although the Sci-Tech Awards traded the platform for Margot Robbie’s elegance. Evidently, during their moments to shine, the duo broke out into laughter and turned the monotonous technical jargon into a lively program.

Over the years while Academy Awards for Motion Pictures has achieved global popularity, its sub-part Sci-Tech Awards have been lesser known. While mostly known for its warm, intimate, and classy feel due to lack of star power, the Sci-Tech Awards stole eyes and made headlines for their 2014 show featuring Margot Robbie.

The 2014 Sci-Techs traded Robbie’s elegance for their evening full of technical jargon. Robbie co-hosted the show with Miles Teller and bantered like a comedic duo. Turning the monotonous evening into a lively show, the duo achieved a new description for the award show: “a hoot”.

Margot Robbie Introduced Open VDB With A Snort 

While the evening was full of loud cheers and enjoyment during the awards and speech deliverance, it soon turned into a more gleeful environment as Margot Robbie stood at the podium to introduce Open VDB. Disarming the audience and honorees with laughter and energy, the Hollywood actress broke down during her speech.

Starting to introduce Open VDB, Margot Robbie cracked up right at the beginning of her speech. Apologizing for the same, the actress tried picking herself up and moving on with the rest of the speech. However, Robbie failed miserably at her attempts and kept snorting and laughing throughout the speech. 

I don’t know why this sounds so s*xual to me,” Margot Robbie confessed.

Laughing so hard, that the actress had to cover her face with her hand and eventually had to rush down the podium to control herself. After leaving the stage, Margot Robbie was spotted returning with a drink while wiping her tears of laughter. However, in the end, although Robbie had a complete “geeky” moment, the actress seemingly seized it and turned the monotonous evening into a lively one.
