Channing Tatum is presently one of the most sought-after action heroes in the Hollywood industry. He rose to stardom with his spectacular performance in Magic Mike and its subsequent franchise. The 43 years old star was previously married to Jenna Dewan, with whom he had a daughter named Everly. He shared a very close bond with his daughter.
In an interview the actor shared that he would never hide anything about his life from his daughter and would tell him about the time was a real stripper.
Channing Tatum wishes to reveal his stripper past to his daughter
The Vow, actor shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he wants to be honest with his daughter about his past life. The actor shared about his earlier days when he was promoting his film Magic Mike’s Last Dance. Channing Tatum shared that he has not yet disclosed to his 9-year-old daughter the real-life inspiration for his movie. He shared in the interview,
“When she’s old enough to watch them, we’ll have that conversation.”
“There’s no version of me not having the conversation of ‘Dad didn’t just do them in movies, I was an actual stripper,’ so I’m not gonna lie to her.”
The actor began his career as a stripper and later moved to modeling and evening getting his acting break with Coach Carter in 2005.
Channing Tatum dropped out of Glenville State College in West Virginia when he was 18. He stripped at a local nightclub under the name Chan Crawford.
In 2014, Channing Tatum told the Hollywood Reporter that he made 150 bucks on a good night.
“On a bad night, 70 bucks — even 50 at times. … Not as good as you think.”
The actor used his experience when creating and starring in Magic Mike in 2012, which was received well by the audience.

She’s the Man actor and, his ex-wife Jenna Dewan welcomed their daughter in 2013. The couple divorced in 2018. The Step Up alums are presently successfully co-parenting Everly, and each one has had numerous sweet moments with their child.
Channing Tatum shared that he was initially nervous to be a single father after his and Dewan’s split. However, he learned to embrace the dad life.
The Magic Mike star said in 2021,
“When I became a single father, I had a lot of fear about connecting to Everly in every way that a little girl might want. I didn’t wear nail polish or know how to braid hair.”
He continued,
“But now, I do both. I jumped with both feet into this magical world, and I was rewarded with a kind of love that I don’t think I would have ever been able to have otherwise.”
Tatum and Dewan shared that he agreed that Everly would wait it out till she is older to start her acting career.
