Emma Stone has an Oscar in her name, a massive acting career, and talent that many would fawn over. She is an actress who has a brilliant range of acting. From superhero movies to romantic movies and even playing the iconic Cruella De Vil. There is no stopping her. No matter what the role may be, she would always fit into her character absolutely perfectly.
She has also worked with some of the biggest stars including and not limited to Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, and Andrew Garfield. One particular movie had her stepping out of her comfort zone and exploring all the different stories that were kept in front of her. Especially that of Billy Jean King. Her entire experience on the set was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her.
Emma Stone Was Glad To Work With Andrea Riseborough
Andrea Risenborough played Emma Stone‘s love interest in Battle of the Sexes and both shared an intense amount of chemistry on screen. The movie not only sought out the themes of gender equality and feminism but also the themes of the L.G.B.T.Q.I.A+ community. There was a lot that was tackled throughout the course of the movie but Stone’s time with Riseborough had been personal and special for her.
“I couldn’t be luckier,” Stone stated. “She is truly the most transformative, incredible actor. So it was like a true lucky break on my part.”
While the movie got quite a few mixed reviews, Stone’s performance was highly praised. Her experience working with Riseborough was giddy, to say the least. She was able to work with an incredible actress and had only praise for her. She even felt lucky to have gotten an opportunity to work with her. She even had a fair share of s*xual scenes with the actress. Stone’s entire experience had been one to remember.
Emma Stone Wanted More Time With Steve Carell
Although Emma Stone had a lot of scenes with Andrea Riseborough, she did not have as many scenes with Steve Carell. She wished she could have worked with him more and gotten to know him the way she did with her co-star.
Carell played Bobby Riggs and the two were going against each other in a tennis match. While the events of the movie were based years prior to when the movie was made, there was a certain level of essence they managed to capture accurately. Everyone’s performances were heavily praised and fans could not get over seeing Carell and Stone together in one movie.
