Black Panther 2 star, Tenoch Huerta was recently accused of being a violent s*xual abuser by a Mexican Saxophonist. María Elena Ríos made this claim in a series of tweets a few days back. Her accusations took up social media by storm, with many claiming Huerta to be innocent until proven guilty.
While the Black Panther 2 star did not immediately respond, he has finally chosen to speak up in a public statement, denying all claims of s*xual abuse, rendering them false and completely unsubstantiated.
Tenoch Huerta Denies All S*xual Abuse Claims
Tenoch Huerta, who played the antagonistic Prince Namor in Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hit back at the s*xual abuse allegations made by the Mexican musician María Elena Ríos. In a public statement sent to the press as well as posted on his Instagram handle, the star labeled Ríos allegations against him as completely untrue and that he cannot let them go unchallenged.
“About a year ago, I dated Elena for several months. It was entirely consensual at all times, as countless others can attest. And throughout it was a loving, warm and mutually supportive relationship. After it ended, however, Elena began to misrepresent our interactions both privately and in front of groups of mutual friends.”
He also mentions how a few months ago, he had hired a legal team to take appropriate actions in order to protect his reputation from these damaging claims. Continuing, he wrote,
“Although I am by no means perfect, I know that these allegations are simply untrue. And while I will always work to improve myself, I need to contest claims that are both false and offensive.”
Huerta ended the note by thanking his family and everyone who has stood by him rather than jumping to “untrue and unjust conclusions“.
María Elena Ríos: Who Is She And Her Allegations Against Tenoch Huerta
María Elena Ríos is a 29-year-old saxophonist from Mexico. An acid attack survivor, she is known for fighting violence against women and even helped pass the revolutionary Malena law to protect acid attack survivors.
In her recent tweets, the musician called out Huerta for his emotional and physical abuse, labeling him a well-loved s*xual predator. She went on to call him a narcissist having a ‘good amount of victimization’.
Claiming that justice is never delivered and is unreachable, Ríos hence gave her reasoning for not reporting the crime. She further added that she has no desire to be famous or even get some money out of these accusations.
While there are no reports of her officially reporting Tenoch Huerta to the authorities, she has also not provided any proof of these very damaging allegations. This coupled with Disney and Marvel not issuing any public comment on these allegations, it is hard to figure out how these claims can affect Tenoch Huerta’s career.
