Paul Rudd who previously joined Selena Gomez’s renowned show Only Murders in the Building by the end of season 2, further reprised his role in the highly anticipated third season. Apart from Rudd, the Season 3 of the comedy series also featured the infamous Meryl Streep, alongside the OG cast.

While discussing his role in the new seasons of Only Murders in the Building, The Avenger star recalled his work experience with Selena Gomez. Claiming to be a huge fan of the singer, Rudd gushed over his bestie, Gomez. Previously crossing paths with the songstress in the entertainment industry, the MCU actor befriended her, while keeping their friendship, Hollywood’s best-kept secrets.

Joining Hulu’s hit show Only Murders in the Building by the end of its second season, Paul Rudd created an impact on the audiences. Thus, revealing about reprising his role in the third season of the comedy show, the MCU actor discussed his work experience with Entertainment Tonight during the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premiere.

It’s the most amazing thing to be [part of], and to be in that room,” Paul Rudd shared. 

Further mentioning his co-star, Selena Gomez, who plays a pivotal role in Only Murders in the Building, Rudd opened up about his friendship. “Selena is great and I’ve worked with Selena, she’s a really good friend of mine. I adore her.” the actor claimed. He further added, “Martin Short and Steve Martin are Mount Rushmore.”

Being grateful for the opportunity to appear in the highly anticipated series, Paul Rudd confessed to being amused by Andrea Martin. “Andrea Martin was in that room and for any comedy fan, I mean she’s like a home run hitter,” Rudd shared. Recalling his disbelief and pinch-me moments, the actor mentioned having, “many ‘I can’t believe I’m in this room right now’ moments”.

While Paul Rudd spoke about his entire Only Murders in the Building cast, fans couldn’t believe how he subtly touched upon his secret friendship with Selena Gomez and diverted the conversation casually. Well, Rudd and Gomez’s friendship is certainly one of Hollywood’s best-kept secrets, ever since they met on the set of The Fundamentals of Caring (2016).
