Ever since then, more PlayStation exclusives are expected to be ported to PC in the coming years. New leaks have now hinted at Horizon Forbidden West is next in line to be ported to PC, which could be huge if it’s true, as the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn is still highly rated.

PlayStation exclusive Horizon Forbidden West was released last year, on the 18th of February, to positive reviews, as the game climbed the Metacritic ladder. Earlier this year in April, the game also got a DLC release, Burning Shores, which was received quite well.

When leaks first hit, there were rumors of the game being ported along with the DLC, but ever since then, there have been no mentions of a PC port of the game.

New leaks by the infamous leaker Billbil-kun revealed that the port will include the DLC, with the package titled Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition. The leaks mention the game will be available on PC via both Steam and Epic Games Store.

Sony Earlier Confirmed PC Gamers Can Expect More PlayStation Ports

Bloodborne Remaster could be announced at the PlayStation State of Play

Last year, after the 2022 fiscal year financial results were revealed, Sony confirmed it was rolling out more exclusives to PC over the next fiscal year.

They did not specify any titles in their report, but gamers have been waiting patiently for official news about more ports. Sony’s PC ports have always been games that are more than a year old, and the same is expected in the future.

Fans have been clamoring for Bloodborne to get a PC port as well, which has received no news or rumors of a port happening any time in the near future. Even if Sony did confirm that gamers can expect more ports, it might still take a few years for fan-favorite exclusives to be ported to PC.

Leaks Suggest Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Appeared in a Listing

Horizon Forbidden West is the most recent game that appears to be getting ported.

Billbil-kun revealed in his leak that a few days back, a Singapore classification body had the game listed for a PS5 release as a Complete Edition, along with the DLC. He went on to reveal that there will be some sort of announcement during the next State of Play, which has just been confirmed to be happening tomorrow.

Billbil-kun earlier correctly leaked that PS Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to play 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, NieR Replicant, Star Ocean: The Divine Force, and many other titles this month. A release date for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition has not been identified yet.

Most of the fans commented asking about Ghosts of Tsushima while others were expecting news on Bloodborne port to PC.

Sony recently released Returnal, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC, so adding Horizon Forbidden West will bring new gamers to play some of the best PlayStation titles on the best platform possible, PCs. If ported well, the game could stay up the Steam charts for a long time, as it’s been a highly successful sequel in the franchise.

Sony still has several PlayStation exclusives that haven’t been ported to PC yet, with many more planned for release on PS5 over the coming months. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases next month, and it should get ported to PC hopefully over the next couple of years, going by the past record.
