Black Adam introduced Pierce Brosnan to the world of superheroes as none other than Doctor Fate himself. Starring alongside Dwayne Johnson, the actor showcased his talent and how he was fit to play the role of Doctor Fate. While promoting his movie, Johnson could not help but admire working with Brosnan and how it was an amazing experience for him.

Not only is Brosnan regarded as a national treasure for Ireland, but he is also commended for his exquisite acting and a sort of understanding as to why he is so far up in the food chain as compared to everyone else in Hollywood. The actor is highly respected and to work with him is an experience on its own for many actors including Dwayne Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson Thinks Pierce Brosnan Is A Treasure For The World

Actors like Barry Keoghan, Colin Farrell, and Killian Murphy are all Irish actors who have embedded their names in superhero movies. Now that Pierce Brosnan is one of them as well, Dwayne Johnson cannot help but admire the actor.

“Working with Ireland’s national treasure, perhaps the world’s national treasure in Pierce Brosnan really was amazing. What an amazing wonderful human being and when you work with Pierce, you realize that there is a very clear reason why he is not only on top of the game and you know why he is so commanding. ” 

He elaborated as to how working with Brosnan is a special experience as it becomes very evident as to why he is so highly regarded as an actor. His role as James Bond labeled him as an actor finer than he already was. Movies like Laws of Attraction and Mamma Mia! showed just how much range his talent could have.

According to Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan brings to the role what no other actor could have brought. His panache as an actor makes him ideal for becoming Doctor Fate. The aura that Brosnan brings to the role makes it impossible to think of anyone else who would fit the character.

According to the comics, the helmet picks its wearer, and Johnson thinks that is exactly what happened. He believes that if there is anyone who could fit into the shoes of Doctor Fate, it’s Pierce Brosnan and no one else.
