Brock Lesnar is one of the most valued members of WWE, he has been among the most dominant wrestlers since his debut in 2002. Lesnar, at 46, is still dominating in the ring with the same charm in his decade-spanning career.
All the profound and godlike nicknames for the wrestling giant— The Conqueror, The Beast Incarnate, The Anomaly— totally fit his personality as he can be spotted easily among 30 other wrestlers. His giant physique corresponds to his incredible capability in the ring. But Joe Rogan believes Lesnar did not receive enough credits for his performance in WWE and UFC.
Joe Rogan Applauds Brock Lesnar on His Podcast
Former UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan dug out the achievement of Brock Lesnar while conversing with WWE legend Hulk Hogan in his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. Specifying his incredible feat, Rogan applauds Lesnar’s transition from WWE to MMA within a short period of time. “What’s incredible with Brock is that Brock went from pro wrestling to being the UFC heavyweight champion,” Rogan said. “I mean and did so with such a short amount of time of training in MMA,” he added.
“Obviously he had a spectacular amateur wrestling career he was a legit top-flight amateur wrestler and a f*cking genetic freak. All those things but to be able to make that transition to winning the f*cking world title against a guy like Randy Couture? I don’t think he gets enough credit for what I think a lot of people say, ‘oh he was so big and he was this and that and he did steroids’ and there’s all these excuses like you don’t understand what that guy did like what that guy did is nothing short of insanity like no one’s ever done that before. No one’s ever gone from I mean, the way he did it too, and to f*cking to get in there and beat a guy like Randy who’s you know one of the best of all time.”
Randy Couture, as Rogan stated, was a pioneer. “Randy was still really at the top of his game back then it,” he added. Still, Lesnar managed to defeat his legendary prowess but he was just getting started in the new arena.
A Freaking Beast, Indeed
Lesnar’s WWE tenure is incredible and popular but his run in the UFC somehow received a lot less appreciation. Rogan said he jumped straight to the top of the food chain fighting Frank Mir and defeating him in the rematch. Lesnar’s capability is undoubtedly insane, he is fast and moves like a tiger despite his enormous body.
“He had like legit top-flight combine numbers like ridiculous numbers. Just a f*cking freak man, yeah, like a real rare one. Very fast too, like his run was fast. Look at this, 6’3, weighs 283 pounds, a 40-yard dash of four seven, four seven at 283 pounds? that’s insane jump. 35 inches vertically and 10 feet from the standing long jump, 10 feet he’s hurling 10th, he’s hurling almost 300 pounds 10 feet. He can bend 225 pounds for 30 reps, 225 for 30 f*cking reps.”
Hulkamania joined the conversation stating that Lesner is the same as before. “He can still go, brother. He can still go.” Hogan also revealed Lesnar’s eating habits as he mentioned the Beast Incarnate only eats what he hunts.
