Although the recently released Andy Muschietti film, The Flash, has left viewers thrilled with the multiverse concept in DC, fans still seemed upset over the terrible CGI. However, on a recent note, another disappointment got added to fans’ list as Henry Cavill’s lost cameo with Sasha Calle got revealed.
As Henry Cavill won countless hearts with his Man of Steel portrayal, fans feel cheated of an iconic scene in The Flash as DC removed Cavill’s notable cameo. Infuriated with the deletion of a phenomenal alternate ending, fans claim the scene, if included, would have toppled George Clooney’s return as Batman.

Henry Cavill’s Deleted Scene With Sasha Calle
As Ezra Miller’s The Flash slowly picks up its pace in the theatres, fans get to know about Henry Cavill’s deleted key scene as Superman, in the film. The revelation came shortly after Cavill made an onscreen cameo in Black Adam despite Warner Bros’ decision not to move forward with the actor.
Following the second chance, had the Studios adhered to their initial storyline, viewers would have witnessed Henry Cavill once more as Superman in The Flash. But unfortunately, the British actor’s chance to suit up was eventually scrapped as they decided to delete his cameo with Sasha Calle.
Winning hearts as DC’s ultimate Superman, Henry Cavill’s excluded scene revealed by The Hollywood Reporter evidently infuriated fans. Missing out on the chance to witness Cavill on the big screen as Superman in Ezra Miller‘s The Flash, fans feel cheated of an iconic ending.
The Flash Alternate Ending Featuring Henry Cavill
In the edited and released version of The Flash, right before the cut to credit, the ending scene reveals a cameo from George Clooney as Batman. Evidently, instead of Ben Affleck, Clooney pulls up to the courthouse in his car and meets Ezra Miller’s character Barry Allen. Well, unfortunately, due to Barry’s time travel meddling, Affleck’s version of Batman appears to have been erased from existence and therefore featured Clooney’s return as the caped crusader.
However, the entire scene was supposed to be completely different, as Warner Bros almost shot an alternate ending featuring Henry Cavill as Superman. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ending scene would have featured different superheroes instead of George Clooney’s simple cameo. Evidently, the scene would have featured Cavill’s Superman joining Sasha Calle‘s Supergirl to meet Barry.
Additionally, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman was also supposed to feature alongside Cavill. However, despite teasing the idea of an alternate ending, featuring the DC legends, Warner Bros eventually had to remove all phenomenal elements. Evidently, James Gunn and Peter Safran’s interference with their own plans for the future of the Studio, as the new heads of DC, wreaked havoc and stripped the audience of a legendary scene.
