Beerus is a god of destruction and can destroy entire planets, universes, and solar systems with just a single tick, and if, for any reason, Vegeta ends up upsetting Beerus, he might blow the planet up, and Vegeta will not have a chance to fight him while also losing his family forever.

Can Vegeta ever defeat Beerus?
Beerus is the god of destruction and one of the most broken characters in the series; no other character has come close to even challenging Beerus to go all out in a battle, let alone be a threat to him.
Vegeta is also mighty and, in his super saiyan blue form, is a powerful character, but Beerus is in a different realm altogether. No matter how much Vegeta trains or works hard, beating a destroyer is a long journey for him and will take several years.
It is also important to note that Vegeta has several new powerups. If, shortly, he gets a very good powerup, then it might become a possibility for him to take on the Beerus head-on and win the matchup.
