Jamie Lee Curtis Challenges Tom Cruise’s “Savior” tag
Jamie Lee Curtis has always been known for her affable and humorous personality off-screen. But the Knives Out star has also been honest and vocal about her opinions regarding films and actors. Curtis jokingly expressed her views in a direct-indirect fashion regarding this statement saying,
“I’m not here to talk about the fact that my movies have made $2.5 billion in the box office and that Tom Cruise isn’t the only one who saved show business”
While it is still unclear which films Curtis was referring to, there is no doubt that the actor has been part of multiple huge hits that have taken her career to great heights while also giving Hollywood its repute. Starting with her debut in 1978 with Halloween, the celebrity starred in big commercial films like Freaky Friday, True Lies, and Knives Out which all enjoyed profitable returns at the box office. Speaking against the reliance on one celebrity, Jamie Lee Curtis went on to say that there was room for many iconic actors to save the day for cinema.
