As they were talking Matt Damon appeared on the big screen behind them. Damon shared that he had hacked into the system and had been there for a long time.

Cause of the feud between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel
The hilarious and light-hearted feud between the stars Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel has been going on for many years. It all started when Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show host made it a tradition of ending every episode with a did on Matt Damon,
“Apologies to Matt Damon, but we ran out of time.”
Interestingly, the actor had not been invited to the show ever.
The joke went on till 2006 when Damon finally became a guest on the show. The episode comprised a segment explaining the gag, and there was a lengthy introduction by Kimmel. However, when Damon sat down and got comfortable, the host cut him off and wrapped the show.
Since the interview, the two of them never leave a chance to take a dig at one another on stints on the talk shows, interviews, and even calling out at the Oscars. They have kept the joke long going for more than a decade.
Contrary to their on-screen image, Oppenheimer actor and late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel are good friends in real life.
