The Time For Henry Cavill’s Superman Came To An End

After appearing in a mere cameo role in Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, Henry Cavill wasn’t given the Superman goodbye that he so rightfully deserved. After James Gunn and Peter Safran created the new DCU, there was simply no space for The Witcher actor to fly once again in the blue/black suit.

As DCU progresses toward the future, the cast choices for the next Superman begin anew with several of the new and old faces of Hollywood. From various actors like Jacob Elordi to even Jack Black, the tweets in support of the various actors are endless. In a Twitter post, the question of who should be cast as the new Superman came to the topic. Suffice it to say, fans gave out three names for the role and Jack Black was there for the fun of it.

And last but not the least, the actor that could actually pull off the Superman look is none other than Jack Black himself.

Although not yet decided, the choices are good ones since James Gunn is looking for a young Superman-aged actor. The removal of Henry Cavill, albeit controversial, was done because Gunn wanted to showcase a newly made DCU without any memories of Zack Snyder present.

Amidst the chaos, fans of Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder wanted to add gasoline to the already burning fire of Superman. With claims that a lawsuit can be put against Warner Bros. Discovery for allegedly misleading the people by showcasing a cameo of Henry Cavill’s Superman, the fans cling to every possible hope that it might bring Cavill back.

Although no such step has been taken as of now, the thought signifies how much the people admired Henry Cavill for the role of Superman. With several projects coming along his ways like The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and his own Warhammer 40,000 project, there is not much chance that the actor will ever return for the role of Superman again.
