Actress Scarlett Johansson dated a number of celebrities before finally ending up with comedian Colin Jost. Johansson met Jost back in 2006 when she hosted an episode of SNL, on which Jost served as a head writer and co-anchor of the show’s Weekend Update segment.
Around that time, Johansson had no romantic intentions but stayed in touch. Fast forward to 2017, the two started dating and made their public debut as a couple in November 2017. Today, their relationship is going quite strong, and last month, Johansson explained the secret behind their happy marriage.

In June, actress Scarlett Johansson appeared on CBS Mornings and revealed the secret behind her happy marriage with comedian Colin Jost. The actress said,
“I will say, we have such a – we laugh a lot and we communicate with one another and check-in. I’m married to a writer, he’s a comedy writer. He can get, like, very in his head sometimes, he’s sort of introverted. I’m extroverted, and so I think the key for us is just always checking in, just asking at the end of the day, ‘How was your day?'”
The couple have been together for over 6 years now. In 2021, they welcomed their first child together, son Cosmo. Johansson also has an 8-year-old daughter, Rose, from her past marriage.
Colin Jost loves being a father
Initially, Colin Jost was unsure about parenthood, but eventually, he got hold of it. In October 2022, a source talked about the comedian embracing fatherhood,
“Colin is an extremely hands-on dad, he always makes a big fuss over little Cosmo.”
The source also added that Jost makes sure that the parental duties are equally divided. Apart from this, Jost is also taking good care of his stepdaughter, Rose.
