Anakin was tasked with bringing the Force back into balance and defeating the Sith, but things took a turn when he rebelled against the Jedi and emerged as one of the strongest Sith lords in history.

Although Anakin’s transformation into the dark side was one of the biggest surprise for fans, many people realized why it was such a thrilling part of the plot. Hayden Christensen elaborated on his thoughts on what would have happened if his character Anakin Skywalker had not turned to the dark side. The Canadian actor did not want his character to turn dark, and he also stated that he wanted to raise the twins with Padme. 

Netizens are still debating over this what-if theory. Netizens wrote, “Disney should just make Marvel’s ‘What If?’ for everything. Unlimited possibilities. Visions are possibly the closest non-canon version, but a multiversal canonical version would be great.” When Anakin became Darth Vader, things the way the fans watched the series also started to change. There is still a long debate about if Anakin’s fall to the dark side was a good transformation or not for the story.

Anakin Skywalker, a former slave on Tatooine, was a Jedi who had been foretold to restore balance to the Force. Chancellor Palpatine Darth Sidio tempts him to the evil side of the Force, and he turns a Sith Lord, taking the name Darth Vader. While talking about his character, Anakin Skywalker, the 42-year-old actor said,

“I love Clone Wars. I think what Dave Filoni did with Clone Wars and Rebels is brilliant. I’m indebted to Dave Filoni because I think he helped the character of Anakin a lot. I think he fleshed out the character and also furthered our understanding of Anakin’s relationship with the Jedi and the Council and the mistrust that he harbored.”

He further added,

“ I think the franchise is in good hands right now, and what Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are doing is brilliant, and so as a fan, I’m very happy to see it expand.”
