With Jaume Collet-Serra’s Black Adam all set to release in theatres on 21 October 2022, just a few days from now, fans are expecting explosions, and rightly so. Following the movie’s premiere in New York, viewers are saying that it is the most action-packed DC movie to date.
Along with many compliments for the director and lead actor Dwayne Johnson, also comes praises for Aldis Hodge’s portrayal of Hawkman. Among the many viewers acknowledging the actor for his work, the video game creator Ed Boon seems to be one of them.

Ed Boon Praises Hawkman
After Black Adam’s premiere in New York, Ed Boon took to Twitter to express his views on the movie saying that Hawkman deserves to have his own solo movie out in the future.
This praise for Aldis Hodge’s performance seems to be quite suited as early reactions to Black Adam reveal that the actor as Hawkman did a commendable job bringing the character to life. Viewers said that Hodge’s Hawkman leaves space in the room for other stories to go and that he has some incredible action scenes in the movie.
When Vanity Fair teased the internet with Aldis Hodge’s photos on the sets of Black Adam as Hawkman, the fans reacted with immense praise for his Hawkman portrayal. With Hodge receiving much love from the audience, without even seeing the film, it is exciting to see how they would react to him after the release of the movie. Although, after early reactions have all been in favor of Hawkman, the future seems to be nothing but positive for the character.
Aldis Hodgeman’s Portrayal of Hawkman
While Hawkman has been seen on the silver screen before, fans are looking forward to seeing how Aldis Hodge interprets the character. During a press release, when Hodge was asked how his portrayal would be different from the previous ones, the actor replied saying that character has something for everyone.
“I can’t give away the cookies and the detail. If you’re a fan, you’re going to get what you want. You’re going to get what you need. If you’re not a fan, if you don’t know anything about this, you’re going to get everything you need to know to learn about what this is, and you’re going to become a fan.”
Hearing his answer one could say with certainty that the actor is proud of the work he has done bringing the bird-like character to life and is absolutely confident that the fans are going to love seeing it all play out on the screens.
With Black Adam’s release lurking just around the corner, all questions are ready to be answered. Fans can finally see for themselves what the extremely hyped movie turns out to be. Although, with the positive reviews left by the early audience, it seems like the movie is going to be a treat to watch.
