Jeremy Renner, who made his first appearance as Clint Barton in Thor (2011), has been a prominent character in the MCU for nearly a decade. However, the character has never been at the forefront despite the actor’s popularity among fans. As the most ‘human’ member of the Avengers, Clint Barton has always been the butt of most jokes as he is considered a legendary archer with no superpowers. But with the Hawkeye series, is expected to be a more grounded show that can better portray the prowess of Barton and Bishop.

The first photos revealed by Entertainment Weekly have shown Kate Bishop and Clint Barton together. According to Renner, the character of Kate Bishop is a big fan of Clint Barton and his unparalleled proficiency with bow and arrows. She will also bring an onslaught of problems to Clint’s life to set things in motion.
[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.
With the show now scheduled to premiere on November 24th, the last months of 2021 will be jam-packed with Marvel content. From Spider-Man: No Way to Home to Ms. Marvel, fans can finally rejoice after a relatively spaced-out release time period owing to the pandemic.
