Gaming Fans Shrug Off $200 Million Worth Starfield, Claim This is the Best Game From Bethesda

While Bethesda’s latest release Starfield keeps on breaking records and players dive into interplanetary adventures, gaming fans have chosen their favorite game from the developer and it’s not Starfield. Players have enthroned Bethesda’s action RPG title The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the greatest game ever. No doubt a large number of players are exploring the vast world of Starfield, but the sci-fi aesthetic isn’t looking to work for a big portion of gamers.

According to Gaming Bible, gamers have voted The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the greatest game ever by Bethesda and shrugged off Starfield even after a massive budget of $200 million and years in development. Gaming Bible conducted a poll on X, formerly Twitter, and asked gamers what they believe is the best game by Starfield developers with options, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Starfield, and Fallout 3.

Skyrim received a massive 49.8 percent votes with Starfield in second place with only 22.9 percent. Fallout 3 was 3rd, followed by Oblivion in 4th place, and although there is no doubt that all 4 of these games are good, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has that pull with its vast open world, character customization, and much more that makes it special for gaming fans.

Why is Skyrim Still Popular Even After 12 Years of Release?

Bethesda has outdone itself with The Elder Scrolls franchise and Skyrim is at the top of the list in the fantasy RPG titles. The game was released back in 2011 and it is still relevant with its immersive narrative, gameplay filled with action, and most importantly, mods. The modding community has played a significant role in keeping the game alive across all platforms.

The modders keep bringing new content to the game that keeps the players hooked and as a result, the game has been re-released on various platforms in 8 different formats, making it available for not just new-gen consoles but new-generation players as well. The game has over 100,000 mods across all platforms and its ending for several side quests and mini-quests never let the fun end for the gamers.

Skyrim has been highly praised for its beautiful scenes and visuals that are a treat to the eyes. And not to forget the signature Bethesda bugs that keep on coming and the community has embraced it. Though it’s only been a few weeks since Starfield‘s release and who knows maybe Bethesda’s biggest release can impress other gamers.
