Starfield could cost how little?

You could get your hands on Starfield for a steal!

Eagle eyed gamers spotted a deal which, at the time of writing, could see you get your hands on an AMD GPU bundle that comes with a free, (yes free), copy of Starfield. All for under £400. We’ll just let that sink in for a minute.

If you’re looking to build your own setup ahead of the September launch, then you could currently pick up a RX 6700 XT for as little as £327, with your own copy of  Starfield as an added bonus. Now given that the game itself will cost you £70 and that the bundle is discounted down from £400, you’ve got one hell of a deal!

And further detail of what setup you need to experience the game in full potential was confirmed by AMD, who broke it down into three categories; Heroic/1080p, Epic/1440p, Legendary/4K.

Starfield is a potential GOTY contender

They also went further in disclosing what CPU they will need for accessing these graphic settings.

For Heroic – 1080p – AMD Ryzen™ 5 7600 CPU, AMD Radeon™ RX 7600 GPU

For Epic – 1440p – AMD Ryzen™ 7 7700X CPU, AMD Radeon™ RX 6800 Series GPU

For Legendary – 4K – AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D CPU, AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 XT GPU

PS owners may have to look at other options to be able to play this title

So if you’re a PlayStation gamer and you’re still bummed about not being able to play this title, then rather than parting with your hard earned cash for an Xbox, this could be the better option for you. Sure you could shell out for the cheaper Xbox Series S and hope that the game will run properly. I mean Bethesda ‘assured’ players that it would run just fine but we’ll maybe not hold our breath on that one.

But what’s your thoughts on this news for Starfield? Could you see yourself picking up this bundle and getting the game at such a low price? Or are you a PlayStation gamer who is desperate to get your hands on the title and looking for other options? Get in touch, drop us a comment and let us know your thoughts.
