The Flash had Ben Affleck reprising his role as the Caped Crusader once again, although potentially for the last time. To say the film performed badly at the box office would be an understatement for the fact that it was one of the most hyped-up DC movies to date. To date it has garnered multiple controversies and hate for something or the other, making it one of the most controversial-afflicted films.
While the film has been somewhat performing well on streaming platforms, fans once again have found something to hate about the film and this time is something to do with Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Fans Angry Over Ben Affleck’s Batman Portrayal In The Flash
Just 15 minutes into the film we witness Batman fighting off some bad guys and falling off a bridge, and Wonder Woman comes to their rescue. Just as Bruce Wayne and the guy are about to fall off, Diana Prince throws down her legendary ‘Lasso of Truth’ and drags them up to safety. As Wonder Woman turns to Batman and tells him.
“And you are welcome.”
While Batman has been acting all sheepish with the Lasso on his hand, he replies,
“My ego is far too big to say thank you to someone. I developed this all-powerful persona to compensate for my childhood trauma”
And just prior to this scene, Batman acts all sheepish as he mutters a ‘Hey’ to Wonder Woman with a huge smile on his face. These scenes have been interpreted as Ben Affleck portraying both the Josstice League (aka Joss Whedon’s Justice League) version of Batman. While others called him out for playing both Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Josstice League’s Batman.
Fans’ Reaction To Ben Affleck’s Batman In The Flash
While mostly there have been light-hearted funny reactions from the fans regarding Ben Affleck portraying both Zack Snyder‘s Batman and Josstice League Batman, there have been a certain group of fans giving him a hard time. They have been calling the scene cringe and insane. This is how some of them reacted,
While Ben Affleck considers the scene his best piece of acting as Batman, fans think otherwise. Nonetheless, seems like The Flash ‘drama’ is a never-ending saga.
