A native of Scottsdale, Emma Stone has been interested in acting since the age of four. She was involved in local theatre groups throughout her childhood, but when she moved to LA as a teenager, she got closer to her dream of making it to Hollywood.

In 2004, she got her start on a TV show called The New Partridge Family. Sadly, only a pilot episode of the show was aired on television. But she didn’t give up, and that helped her get roles in shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, to name a few.

The year 2007 marked her first gig in Hollywood when she got the role of Jules in the teen comedy, Superbad. She was in three movies simultaneously in 2009, including Ghosts of Girlfriends, Paper Man, and Zombieland. And in 2011, Emma Stone made it through to mainstream cinema with parts in movies including Friends with Benefits, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and The Help.

Her recent successful movies include Cruella and The Croods: A New Age. She was also nominated at the Golden Globes for her role in Cruella. Her upcoming projects include two feature films, Poor Things, and And.

Emma Stone worked in a 2014 movie, Magic in the Moonlight, where her character talks to spirits. However, the La La Land star has had several instances in real life also where she has encountered ghosts.

When Stone made her 2014 appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, the actress revealed that she believes her late grandfather leaves her quarters. Not only the actress but the whole family receives money from this friendly ghost. She said,

“There’s a long family history with quarters, my grandfather leaves quarters. It’s just amazing. It’s him. It’s absolutely him!”

The actress has never met her grandfather, but she has absolute faith that it is he who leaves quarters for all the family members.
