It is well known that Elon Must is a big fan of FromSoftware’s Elden Ring as he has already in the past revealed his in-game build over the internet and got a rather lousy response from players as it is considered a bad build. However, that hasn’t stopped Elon Must from talking about the epic fantasy game and potentially gaining some inspiration for X which was formally known as Twitter.
Why has Elon Musk begun to take inspiration from Elden Ring?
Since Elden Ring’s release, many gamers around the world have been taken back by how wonderful the game is, and it doesn’t just end there as many are enticed by the beautiful yet dangerous world of Elden Ring, which is where Elon Musk comes in as he seems to have made some comments on X (Twitter) one of which being;
“Elden Ring is some of the most beautiful art ever created.“
There are many who believe that Elon Musk is a somewhat edgy person and is looking towards updating X (Twitter) so that it has an even darker tone to it, but this random comment could just be that Elon Musk has been playing Elden Ring recently and it could just be a random social media session as he is pretty active on social media and will likely tweet about what he is doing and what he thinks about it.
How could this affect Elon Musk’s X (Twitter)
Many will be wondering how this could affect X (Twitter) as Elden Ring is quite an interesting game to take inspiration from when it comes to a social media app, and there are a few options that could be brought in, but they will be highly unlikely as they are unique options that wouldn’t necessarily make sense on a social media app, but when has Elon Musk ever made sense.
The first piece of inspiration that could be used on X (Twitter) is to create a different logo using inspiration from Elden Ring; since the change from Twitter to X, there has been a lot of discussion about the logo, especially when a giant flashing X was built on top of the Twitter HQ building in San Francisco, and numerous people complained getting it removed days later.
Another change that could be made is to the colour scheme of the app, taking inspiration from Elden Ring and using a more black and yellow colour scheme throughout the whole layout whilst also adding some form of tree vines everywhere, but this does lean more into outright copying rather than inspiration. Some people have even gone as far as to say that they may even add “you died” messages to the app or maybe even add something akin to the notes that players can leave behind in-game to the message board of X (Twitter).
So far, this could all just be a random Tweet from Elon Musk as he is playing through Elden Ring, but it could also be a tease for the future of X (Twitter). What do you think about this information? Let us know in the comments what you think!
