It is very inspiring to the fans how the former WWE wrestler is all set to break Smith’s record after once desiring to become like him in his initial Hollywood days.

It is not the first time Johnson has surprised us with his incredible feats. The Scorpion King actor is often praised for his extraordinary achievements in the industry. Now he is looking forward to a more successful future as his Red One is expected to pay him an astronomical $50 million.
Reports by Puck state that with the gigantic $50 million paycheck, Dwayne Johnson will officially get the highest fee ever given. Robert Downey Jr. and Will Smith were the earlier candidates for this mantle. The Iron Man fame earned $40 million for Captain America: Civil War while the latter was paid the same amount for King Richard.
With this announcement, the fans also got to know about an inspiring tale as the actor has done almost everything and even more to not only be like his inspiration but also surpass him. The Rock admitted that when he told his agency about his aspiration to be like Will Smith, nobody believed him to rise to the level of the Oscar-winning actor.
“Will Smith is my boy but at that time I sat down with the agency that I was with, and they said what do you want to accomplish? I said, I want to accomplish the world, I want the world and I want Will Smith’s career, but I want to do it bigger and better. And they looked at me like I had three heads. And they were like, Umm, yea, okay.”
Previously, Dwayne Johnson was paid a whopping sum of $23.5 million for Netflix’s The Red Notice co-starring Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. But with the new updates for Red One, the Christmas action flick promises to be a grand blockbuster.

Reports about the upcoming holiday entertaining are scarce but it is set to start a new franchise that will retell the holiday mythological tales. The project inspired by an idea conceived by Hiram Garcia will be helmed by the Jumanji filmmaker Jake Kasdan and will star The Rock and the Captain America fame alongside Kiernan Shipka, J.K. Simmons, and Lucy Liu among others.
Chris Evans was also spotted speaking about the project and has expressed his excitement after working on a Christmas movie for the first time. According to the ex-Marvel heartthrob, as he was never offered a Christmas project, he couldn’t deny this offer when it came to him. He explained his experience after working with Dwayne Johnson in an interview with Comic Book and couldn’t stop praising him.
“And Dwayne is just unbelievable. He’s such a nice guy. He’s incredible what he does actually, he’s so funny. He’s really charming and really knows.”
It can’t be denied that all the updates and tidbits that have come out from Red One have undoubtedly raised hype for the upcoming flick. It will be interesting to see if the movie can live up to the expectations of the audience or end up being a typical one-time watch.
Red One is expected to be released sometime in 2023 on Amazon Prime.
