Her massive paycheck will have her leave behind her fellow actresses and actors like Dwayne Johnson. Even though Dwayne Johnson was reportedly paid an upfront salary of $50 million for an upcoming action film, Margot Robbie’s earnings for the Warner Bros. movie are way more than that.

Margot Robbie earlier made history for being the leading actress to earn the highest salary upfront when she got paid over $12.5 million for Barbie. It was earlier reported that she would be making over $50 million including the earnings from box-office success. However, seeing the gigantic success of the live-action toy-based movie, the Suicide Squad actress could get paid a lot more.

With Barbie still going strong and having earned about $1.2 billion at the box office so far, Margot Robbie could become the highest-paid actress and actor of all time with the earnings from the movie’s profits. While it hasn’t been revealed as to how much Margot Robbie would be making from her ‘pinkest movie’, it is speculated that she might soon cross the $100 million mark.

Her massive salary would outshine Dwayne Johnson and even the likes of Tom Cruise, and Robert Downey Jr. The Greta Gerwig blockbuster is the most feminist movie yet, accurately tackling and breaking down prejudiced societal norms. With the Birds of Prey actress earning a massive paycheck, she not only secures her position as a bankable star but also becomes a symbol of empowerment and equality in Hollywood.

Setting an all-time record of being the highest-paid actor, Dwayne Johnson was reportedly paid over $50 million upfront by Amazon for his upcoming movie, Red One. Not only has the Rock overtaken the position of being the highest-paid actor from Robert Downey Jr., but he has further solidified his position as one of the biggest actors in the history of Hollywood.

However, despite the massive paycheck, his achievements have been outshined by Margot Robbie’s Barbie paycheck, which is expected to make her one of the highest-paid actors. Not only would she make history, but the record also remains significant seeing the themes of equality and representation are at the forefront of discussions now. And in such a setting, Robbie’s achievements are regarded as more significant, important, and ‘real’ in comparison to Johnson’s.
