Recently, Stephen Merchant a comedian and filmmaker gave out Johnson’s diet details. For those of you who don’t know, Merchant has worked as a director in various films like Fighting with My Family, Cemetery Junction, and Hello Ladies: The Movie. Recently, Merchant was invited to Sirius XM radio, revealing that his friend  Black Adam actor likes to write timings on his food.

“We were having a meeting about the movie and his alarm went off at like 03:17 p.m. and he went to the fridge to get turkey and rice with a message of ’03:17 p.m. written.”

This shows how particular The Rock is about his diet and strict workout.

The Rock was welcomed by Warner Bros for playing their newest superhero Black Adam. The film made its debut last year on October 3. Fans loved how the Black Adam actor portrayed the character perfectly. But the performance was not the only thing he worked on. As he did some intense workouts to get into the costume of the archenemy of Shazam.

In one of the interviews, his coach revealed all the fitness measures he took to play the character. Dave Rienzi has been the WWE star’s coach for almost a decade and has helped him to get into shape may it be for a role or wrestling.

He revealed that the workouts Dwayne Johnson did were “the most grueling, intense, and demanding commitments of his entire career.” The coach also explained how phase-wise he prepared the actor for the role.

“Phase one was really about building that superhero physique; phase two was maintaining that foundation while filming; phase three and four were both about prepping for specific shirtless scenes. Remember, there was no padding in the suit, and we had to hold that physique for the entire film.”

Black Adam is available to stream on HBO Max.
