Dungeons 4 dropped a brand new gameplay teaser trailer, showing fans what’s to come for the new strategy simulator. Continuing the trend of playing as the villains, Dungeons 4 shows the player mining gold and creating their dungeon before causing chaos in the world above. The horde, demon, and undead, are working together to burn down villages and make the Overworld their own. Dungeons 4 is expected to launch later this year on November 9 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Dungeons 4: How Did We Get Here?
Dungeons 4 was announced last year, around the same time as Gamescom 2022. Ever since then, there has not been a lot of news surrounding Dungeons 4. Dungeons 3 did launch on the Nintendo Switch last year on September 15, about five years after its launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The Dungeons series has been around since 2011, with sequels coming out every few years. Dungeons 2 is the first game in the series to release on console in 2016 for the PlayStation 4. Dungeons 3 and Dungeons 4 would follow suit and release with console versions at launch. The publishers, Kalypso Media, are also developing Dungeons 4 under Realmforge Studios. You might know Kalypso Media for publishing other simulators like Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants, Railway Empire, and Tropico 5.

Dungeons 4 is still all about playing as the Absolute Evil as a new age of evil has been born. Building bigger and better dungeons, up to four times larger than previous games, in your conquest to take over the Overworld. But watch out for the Dwarves in the underground as they compete for space and resources.
Will Dungeons 4 Be Landing on the Nintendo Switch?
Dungeons 4 is coming out later this year on November 9 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. While the Nintendo Switch logo was present for the Dungeons 4 announcement trailer, it is now absent from the gameplay teaser trailer. Dungeons 4‘s console versions are coming out exclusively for current generation PlayStation/Xbox consoles which means it will take Realmforge Studios a bit of time to downscale Dungeons 4 for the Nintendo Switch.

No official word on what’s to come for Dungeons 4 on the Nintendo Switch but it will likely release after the November 9 release date.
