Doctor Strange 2 Reveals Why a Major Avenger Wasn’t There in Illuminati Universe

After watching Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness most MCU fans have only one major question in their minds – Where is Vision? This new flick majorly focuses on Wanda Maximoff as she tries to get away into the parallel universe to live with her sone- Billy and Tommy Maximoff. Both the characters were first seen in last year’s WandaVision and were a prominent part. Even though Doctor Strange 2 is very much connected to WandaVision, we were unable to find Wanda’s husband Vision (Paul Bettany).

There were a lot of speculations regarding the same. Since there was no mention of Vision in the reality where Wanda was so desperately looking forward to going into the Multiverse of Madness. There have been a number of fan theories explaining the absence of this major Avenger in the Illuminati Universe.

What does the Theory say?

Vision may not exist in the same Illuminati-controlled realm that Wanda Maximoff visits in Multiverse of Madness, according to the theory. The user claims that in this universe, “Reed Richards was able to successfully create Ultron.” There was no necessity for the Illuminati to build Vision as a countermeasure if Ultron never turned evil. If that’s the case, it explains why Wanda Maximoff never looks for Vision in the Multiverse of Madness. If Wanda is aware that Billy and Tommy exist on Earth-838, it is reasonable to conclude she is also aware that Vision does not.

Not having Vision for real is weird but the fact that Wanda only looks for Billy and Tommy is quite evident that she’s come to terms with Vision’s death. Or there might be a possibility that finding Billy and Tommy is nothing more than just a first step of Wanda’s plan. Wanda only concentrates on Illuminati’s universe in the flick maybe because that’s where she could find America Chavez after she eloped into the multiverse with Stephen Strange.

Therefore, it is sensible enough to look for the possibility that Wanda truly never intended to settle down on Earth-838 permanently. Rather she was planning to find a universe where she could happily live with her family consisting of Vision, Billy, and Tommy. However, to an extent, we might never know the actual reason.
