Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at its core is all about Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon. The film explores his past and there we get to meet Chukwudi Iwuji’s the High Evolutionary. In the flashback sequences, we find out about the physical, emotional, and mental pain that Rocket suffered due to the High Evolutionary’s actions. But most importantly, we get to know why he hates Rocket and that reason is why fans are impressed at Iwuji and James Gunn.

However, not everyone thinks the same. Some think Iwuji’s High Evolutionary doesn’t have the kind of layers that Thanos or Loki have. Others are of the view that he is pure evil and doesn’t have any compelling motivations. In the film, it is revealed that the mad scientist hated Rocket because that raccoon’s intellect was far more than his own. It now remains to be seen what general audiences think of the new villain.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now in theaters.
