What has been revealed regarding The Final Shapes’ story and location?
So far, we have been treated to a lot of information regarding The Final Shape and the story that will unfold through this major DLC, and there is so much to see that many fans can’t wait to get their hands on it already. For starters, we will be reuniting with Cayde-6 inside the Traveller in what will be known as The Pale Heart, which will be the new location setting, as players will see a culmination of 10 years worth of storytelling as we see the original three vanguards we spent all this time with reunite and try to save the universe from The Witness.
From what we know, we will be spending the campaign of The Final Shape attempting to stop The Witness from enacting its plan, which is to gain the power of the light from inside The Traveller so that it will gain enough power to freeze the universe in a state that The Witness deems perfect. Unfortunately, that will most likely end in a bad way, so understandably, we want to stop that, which leads us and our favourite vanguards through The Pale Heart to stop The Witness by any means necessary.
As we progress through The Pale Heart, many players who have been with Destiny from the start will go through memory lane; as The Pale Heart is currently being shaped by The Witness, the world is constantly changing, and once our player character enters the world, The Pale Heart will begin to change and show us memories from our past as The Traveller saw them, which means we will see some majorly iconic locations from both Destiny and Destiny 2, and what caught most fans eyes is the fact we will be able to visit a lush and verdant version of the original D1 Tower.

What other exciting features will be coming in Destiny: The Final Shape?
Throughout the Destiny 2 Showcase, many gamers were at the edge of their seats as there were so many new and exciting features that were revealed throughout the showcase, such as brand-new enemies, exotic weapons, new super abilities, and even a new raid.
During the showcase, we received a look into what will be coming in The Final Shape, and it all looks quite interesting as there will be a new enemy type that will be coming to Destiny 2, which is known as subjugators, and these enemies are a darkness based enemy that is able to use either Strand or Stasis abilities to cause problems for players as they battle through The Pale Heart.
Next, we have some new exotic weapons that will be coming to Destiny 2 during The Fallen Shape, now these weapons are still in development, and they could change between now and the release of The Fallen Shape, but if the weapons stay the same, we could be getting an exotic Pyramid based fusion rifle, potentially a trace rifle that mimics The Travellers laser attack, a sidearm that shoots mini rockets which will travel slowly but deal a lot of damage, and finally a sub-machine gun which will have two alternate modes one to damage enemies and one to heal allies.
After that, we will be receiving one new super for each class, unfortunately, there has been no reveal for darkness super, but we did receive a tease at new alternate supers for Arc, Solar, and Void. First will be Warlock, who will be getting a new Solar super, which charges the Warlock with Solar energy and turns their melee ability into a finger snap which spawns numerous explosive orbs that seek out enemies.
There is the Hunter, who will be gaining a new Arc alternate super which allows the Hunter to throw an Arc knife forward, to which they can then blink to that knife and do a massive whirlwind strike at its location. Finally, we will also be getting a new Titan super for Void which allows the Titan to jump into the air and throw numerous axes at their enemies, which draw the enemies in and explode, but not just that, as players, will also be able to pick those axes up once they have exploded.
Each class will also be getting a new aspect for each of those supers, so Warlocks will get an aspect which allows their rift to summon a Solar Soul, which will split apart and track to enemies detonating on them; next, we have the Hunter, who’s aspect allows them to turn their Arc staff into a propellor letting them fly into the air, and finally, we have the Titans who’s aspect allows them to charge their grenade into a shield and the more damage that shield takes once it is used up it can be used as a pulse attack to deal damage to enemies.
Finally, there is the upcoming raid which will take place in The Pale Heart, which is what will culminate the story of The Light And Darkness saga as players will take on numerous large and intimidating bosses, all leading to The Witness so that we can finally put an end to their plan and save the whole universe at least for awhile.
