However, in a recent interview with Insider, while discussing new additions to her LuluSimonStudio athleisure line, Kramer admitted to an exceptionally uncomfortable experience from her past involving none other than Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood—the father of her ex-partner.

During her short-lived romance with Scott Eastwood in 2013, Jana Kramer found herself unable to restrain her opinions when discussing the acclaimed 2004 film Million Dollar Baby directed by Scott’s father, the renowned Oscar-winning director. Kramer candidly admitted that she couldn’t help but express her thoughts, going so far as to critique the film’s ending. 

“I decided to tell him how I thought ‘Million Dollar Baby’ should have ended,” she revealed about conversation with Eastwood.

In Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood, Hilary Swank delivers a powerful performance as Maggie Fitzgerald, a determined female boxer seeking professional success. Seeking guidance from Frankie, played by Eastwood himself, Maggie faces her ultimate challenge in a bout against a notorious fighter. An illegal punch from her opponent tragically leaves Maggie paralyzed as she strikes her neck against a wooden stool in the ring.

She expressed her candid opinion, Jana Kramer shared her belief that Maggie’s opponent in Million Dollar Baby should have been disqualified for throwing numerous illegal punches before the decisive blow. According to Kramer, Maggie deserved to emerge victorious in the match. Fearlessly voicing her perspective, she didn’t shy away from conveying this to Clint Eastwood, who directed the film.

“He just looked at me and was like, ‘Hmm, didn’t think about that,'” the singer told Insider of Eastwood’s reaction.
