Adrien Brody is a dedicated actor who has done some of the most mesmerizing roles that always make the audience stare in awe. The actor is not one to shy away from some of the most interesting and intriguing roles. He will give his level best to bring out every inch of talent that he has. When it comes to the different forms of acting, Brody leans towards method acting. This form can be taken both negatively and positively. From Christian Bale to Kate Winslet, quite a great bunch of respected actors choose to use method acting as their primary form of getting into character. However, sometimes this method can prove to be a little too much.

However, The way Adrien Brody saw it, there was no going back.
Brody was working extremely hard for his role in The Pianist. Not only did he win an Oscar for Best Actor, but he also happens to be the youngest actor to do so at that time and he still holds that title. However, not only did he learn how to play the piano just for the movie, but he also lost 30 pounds for the role. His dedication was more than extraordinary because he sold his car, and came on set with only a bag and a piano. He even sold his apartment. This series of events led to his then-girlfriend also ultimately leaving him.
Adrien Brody’s Diet For The Pianist
Adrien Brody’s dedication to his role was certainly admirable. To lose such an amount of weight, the actor was on a strict diet where he daily ate only two boiled eggs with green tea for breakfast. For lunch, he would only limit himself to eating a small bit of chicken. This meal was followed by a tiny piece of meat, usually fish or chicken with some steamed vegetables for dinner.
He strictly followed this diet for six weeks, helping him lose over 30 pounds in a short period of time. The actor won an Oscar and a César for his role. Although he had certain losses along the way, they ultimately all helped him in giving one of his greatest performances ever.
