Did you know that there are different classes of stripping? Well, coach Channing Tatum has all the answers. Having experienced the stint in the early days of his career, he used to make a living in Miami perfecting his skill.
The actor has been vocal about his gig as a stripper in various talk shows and feels no regret that he had to do all that. When his modeling career took off, he got to use the skill to showcase his lean and muscular body for ad shoots.
His days of stripping may be long gone, but he revisited them once again in this year’s Magic Mike’s Last Dance alongside the incredibly talented Salma Hayek.
Working in the much-awaited threequel, Channing Tatum realized a few things about his career and the level of perfection that he had achieved over the years.
Channing Tatum Is Little Too Confident Against Justice League Star
Channing Tatum admittedly gave his all to complete the trilogy, which opened to mixed reviews and with a 48% RT score.
Together for a decade, Tatum’s co-star in the franchise Joe Manganiello who shared the grooves with him while stripping on stage was on Vanity Fair’s list of lie detector questions earlier this year.
The 43-year-old actor spontaneously downsized his co-star when asked if Manganiello was a better stripper than him saying –
“100%. We’re different. Different classes of strippers. But, as far as stripping goes, I would put myself above him, dance-wise.”
Manganiello couldn’t take his Deathstroke further in the DC universe but at least the actor came back for an old friend to put up a good stripper show.
Channing Tatum Considers Joe Manganiello Flawless
With the body of a professional fighter, Joe Manganiello could have given us the most comic-accurate Deathstroke in Zack Snyder’s Justice League but the actor seems to be having a tough time landing a lead since his days on Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films.
Channing Tatum in his statement to Vanity Fair said –
“When you look in the dictionary next to the perfect specimen of a man, probably Joe Manganiello is one of the bodies that pops up. He’s kind of weirdly flawless.”
Flash Thompson or Deathstroke, at least Channing Tatum holds his hand considering the one area – Manganiello’s body, is where the actor would take the backseat.
With the franchise complete, the G.I. Joe actor has an open schedule, and looking at his recent, it looks like he has a lot more stripper flexibility left in him.
Tatum will reportedly be seen alongside Scarlett Johansson in Apple TV+ space race film Project Artemis along with Amazon’s spy thriller Red Shirt by David Leitch. Both films are in early developmental phases, and the release dates and premise are under wraps.
