Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Will Witness the Return of This Beloved Feature

2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare garnered some major backlash on its release, following the removal of map voting, which allowed players to skip unpopular maps. But like 2K, who eventually learned from their shortcomings and brought back the long-awaited GM mode in WWE 2k22, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also witness the fan-favorite feature of map voting return.

Alongside this, the threequel will also witness the return of red dots on the mini-map, a feature they ditched with the reboot of the MW series, and will include the remastered versions of MW2 maps. The 16 confirmed maps for the game include Highrise, Sub Base, Estate, Terminal, Wasteland, Afghan, Rust, Underpass, Invasion, Karachi, Quarry, Skidrow, Scrapyard, Rundown, Favela, Derail.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Is Also Bringing Back the Zombie Mode

These aren’t the only updates about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that have fans enthralled, as it’ll be the first MW game to include a zombie mode. After making its successful debut back in Call of Duty: World at War, Black Ops II elevated this mode to new heights, and it seems Activision is not pulling any punches to perfect this beloved mode for the upcoming release. The zombie mode in Modern Warfare 3 is described as the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever, and players can team up to fight hordes of zombies in the upcoming entry.
