The third installment in the megahit Twilight Saga movie series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse features Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of Victoria – a revengeful, red-haired villainous vampiress, who shares a resentful relationship with the movie’s male protagonist and Bella’s beau, Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson).

The actress recently took to Instagram to share a rather funny story behind shooting the iconic scenes of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. According to the actress, her brother-in-law had given her a surprise gift – a Robert Pattinson-themed notepad, with the caption at the bottom of it reading ‘live dangerously’.

In the post, Bryce Dallas Howard chose the photo in which she had Pattinson in a headlock and wrote the caption,

“Fun Fact: My brother-in-law made a notepad for me to use with Robert Pattinson’s face with ‘live dangerously’ at the bottom.”

Reports state that the reason behind the photo and the caption is the vengeful relationship between Victoria and Edward Cullen. The cause behind the creation of this hatred between the duo because the Cullens had killed Victoria’s lover James in the first movie of The Twilight Saga franchise.

For what it’s worth, getting between a vindictive Victoria and Cullen would be highly menacing indeed!

Bryce Dallas Howard Wasn’t the Original Casting for Victoria

While the character Victoria was in the original Twilight movie too, however, it wasn’t played by Bryce Dallas Howard from the start. Initially, the official casting for the role of Victoria was given to Rachelle Lefevre.

The Barney’s Version actress portrayed the villainous vampiress for only two movies in the franchise – Twilight as well as The Twilight Saga: New Moon, after which Lefevre quit due to a scheduling conflict. Subsequently, Bryce Dallas Howard was hired for the role in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie.

For those who don’t know, Victoria along with her lover James and comrade Laurent were the vampire trio who killed humans. Reaching the Cullens’ hometown in Forks, the wandering trio tried to kill Bella Swan as well, as she was a human.

However, Swan was not alone and had the Cullens rising to her defense, killing Victoria’s lover James in the battle that followed. This is why Victoria had a vengeful relationship with Cullen, which she enacts in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse movie.

You can now stream The Twilight Saga movie series on Netflix.
