For most people, divorces signify a complete cut in a marital relationship. But there’s one couple in Hollywood that’s proving to be a complete exception right now. After Bruce Willis was diagnosed with aphasia, his ex-wife Demi Moore decided to shoulder the burden of his care with his wife Emma Heming Willis.
The situation is a bit eyebrow-raising for many. After all, it’s not every day one sees an ex-wife care so passionately about her ex-husband’s deteriorating health. But it’s commendable that Moore has decided to lend her strength to his family and recently all of them celebrated Mother’s Day together.
Bruce Willis’ Wife And Ex-Wife Celebrate Mother’s Day Together
In an Instagram post shared by Emma Heming Willis, 4 generations of Willis women celebrated Mother’s Day. Demi Moore and her daughter Rumer Willis were also present in the group. In fact, Heming celebrated stepdaughter Rumer Willis becoming a mother for the first time by welcoming granddaughter Louetta.
She captioned the post:
“What an extra special day it was for our family as we celebrated @rumerwillis and her first Mother’s Day and we just love how the girls keep multiplying in pure Willis fashion. We love you so very much Louetta.”

Demi Moore commented on the pic and said, “Beautiful perfect sweet day.” Also, she shared the same photo on her Instagram handle and captioned it as “Perfect way to celebrate Mama’s Day.” As such, it looks like the two families have intermingled well and decided to celebrate their happy times together too apart from caring for Bruce Willis. It’s interesting that Moore is going to this extent because their divorce was done among rumors of Willis cheating on her.

Did Bruce Willis Cheat On Demi Moore During Their Marriage?
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were married from 1987 to 2000. On the outside, it seemed like a happy marriage but Moore in her memoir, Inside Out, stated that she suspected her husband had not been faithful to her in their relationship. The actress stated that it could have been because the two jumped into marriage too soon after they began dating. She wrote:
“Bruce and I had met, married, had a baby, and just done a lot, very quickly. It was as if he woke up a few years later and thought, ‘Whoa, is this what I want? Or do I really want to be free?’ I think he was struggling to resolve a conflict within himself: he wanted family and grounding, but he also craved excitement and novelty. Basically, he wanted to do whatever the f**k he wanted.”
The two of them divorced in 2000 amidst rumors that Willis had cheated on her with Liv Tyler, with whom he worked on Armageddon. Tyler denied those rumors and stated that she was simply friends with Willis. Whatever might have happened, years later, the two of them seem to have reconciled. Back in 2020, Moore even spent time with her ex-husband during the pandemic and now she’s helping his family deal with the devastating news of aphasia.
