By now I’m sure you’ve heard the heroic story of Bridger Walker, an older brother who put his own life on the line to save his younger sister from a horrible situation. Not all heroes wear capes, but even those who don’t sometimes look up to heroes who do. Bridger was, and is, one of those heroes. Coming into a situation with quick thinking and quicker reflexes, he saved a life without even thinking of getting anything in return. In the days of social media, that comes in short supply. Receiving a few injuries for the sake of saving a life, we’re all glad to see that nobody lost their life.
No matter what all went through his mind during this likely stressful time, what happened afterward must not have been even a part of his wildest dreams. Droves of people heard of his story, including the likes of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey Jr. These three incredible humans have made recovering from this event a whole lot better and exciting for young Bridger Walker. Evans has sent him a Captain America shield, Hemsworth has invited him onto the team (if accepted, he’d be the youngest Avenger by far) and RDJ has a special surprise lined up for his birthday.

That’s not all that’s awaiting Bridger Walker though. His aunt has posted a video of a call with none other than Tom Holland. Holland had heard that Spider-Man was this young heroes favorite Avenger, and took it upon himself to invite Bridger Walker to hang out on the set Spider-Man 3. Holland said the following on the Instagram post you can see below:
“We’re gonna be shooting Spider-Man 3, and if you ever want to come to set and hang out, see the Spider-Man suit up close and hang out with us, you’re always welcome.”
There is always some good that can come from a bad situation, and it’s beyond refreshing to see that someone who did good for nothing in return can be rewarded with some very exciting opportunities. In these tough times, a heartwarming story is a great chaser to all the negativity that seems to flood our daily lives.
