The Mandalorian is among the most popular series on OTT platforms. The space sci-fi series creator is Jon Favreau and the first live-action series of the Star Wars franchise. The plot begins five years after the event of Return of Jedi. Actor Pedro Pascal plays the lead in the series, who is a lone bounty hunter trying to protect the Force-sensitive child Grogu. The show received an excellent opening for its debut season and season, but apparently, there has been a drop in the ratings for the third one.
The first episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 aired on 1 March 2023, and now five episodes have been released. The show has been making top trends with the release of each episode, but still, there has been something offputting in this season as it is progressing further. It’s somewhat difficult to pinpoint the reason, but we have discussed some here.
Katee Sackhoff plays the role of Bo-Katan, who was first introduced in the second season of the show. The character had grown to be the prominent one in the second season, with the story focussing on her dominantly. With Bo-Katan in the lead, Din has taken a backseat, and Grogu is seen busy with the mission to save Din. While Grogu happens to be a Mandalorian foundling, in season 3 Bo-Katan is seemingly becoming the headline character if she can unite the scattered clans of her people.

The Armorer supports Bo-Katan for Mandalorians
Bo-Katan has always proved to be of a self-serving attitude, without adhering to the consequences. She took the Darksaber against the Creed’s laws, which cursed her people, and many of them were annihilated during the Fall of Mandalore. Owing to her attitude, viewers took her to be the villain of the season, but in the recent plot, she saved Din from a terrifying monster and joined the Children of the Watch with him.
It is also seen that The Armorer has big plans for her and calls her to talk privately. She told her that all Mandalorians had to walk by the Creed, but it was too extreme, so many did not do it. The Armorer says that Bo-Katan had walked both paths with her helmet on and without it. As she has experience of both sides, Armorer offers her to recruit other Mandalorians who have the same belief as Children of the Watch. She also gave her the advantage of removing her helmet. But The Armorer has a bigger plan of uniting all Mandalorians under one clan and realized Bo-Katan was best suited for the role. Given that, Bo-Katan can fulfill the task she will gain the potential to become the leader of Mandalorians.
Will Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Have A Face-Off?
The Mandalorian sect of Children of the Watch is planning to re-establish their society, for which they need a leader. Din Djarin and Bo-Katan are strong contenders for leadership, and both have been tasked to unite the Mandalorians. On the personal front, though they started as unlikely allies, they have come to friendly terms.
As the show furthers, it seems Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze will be pitted against one another for the leadership of the new Mandalorian society. If this happens to be true, it will surely be exciting to watch the clash of two befitting and strong contenders for becoming the leader.
The Mandalorian Season 3 new episodes are streaming on Disney+ every Wednesday.
