Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse may get delayed beyond 2024
As per recent reports, the final film of the trilogy Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse may not hit theatres in 2024. There are some important reasons which may obstruct the film’s release. The artists working on the film have claimed that it may release in 2025 or 2026.
As per the sources,
“They’ve announced that Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released in March of next year. I’ve seen people say, ‘Oh, they probably worked on it at the same time.‘ There’s no way that movie’s coming out then. There’s been progress on the pre-production side of things. But as far as the production side goes, the only progress that’s been made on the third one is any exploration or tests that were done before the movie was split into two parts. Everyone’s been fully focused on Across the Spider-Verse and barely crossing the finish line. And now it’s like, Oh, yeah, now we have to do the other one.”
The ongoing Writers’ Strike has led to uproar from multiple sectors of entertainment, which has impacted the entire filmmaking industry.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse producers comment on the delay rumors
The recently released Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been doing exceedingly well in the theatres. Spider-Man fans are equally thrilled and amazed by the picturization and intriguing plot of the film. But part two of the trilogy ends on a cliffhanger, much like Avengers: Infinity War. While Avengers‘ final part was released just a year later, the Spider-Man sequel may take more time.
The studio and producer Amy Pascal have already commented on the situation in conversation with Comicbook,
“One of the things about animation that makes it such a wonderful thing to work on is that you get to keep going until the story is right. If the story isn’t right, you have to keep going until it is.
She added,
“I guess, Welcome to making a movie.”
After Pascal, producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller opened up about the news about the delay and shared an update on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse release. In a new interview with ComicBook, Lord and Miller said,
“I would say that just like we’re going to take the time necessary to make Beyond the Spider-Verse great.”
Miller concluded,
“And we won’t back into a release date that doesn’t fit.”
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is presently running in theatres.
