The Bethesda blog post also details the fact that the studio is working with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support, with each update set to include new “stability and performance improvements”. In a Tweet accompanying the blog post Bethesda made clear to fans that they’ll keep supporting the game for years to come. Bethesda is also taking fan feedback on board, but they want to focus on bug fixes and stability at the moment, stating that:
“Even if we don’t get to your requests immediately, we’d love to do it in the future, like city maps.
“Our priority initially is making sure any top blocker bugs or stability issues are addressed, and adding quality-of-life features that many are asking for.”
Bethesda also made note of the fact that they are working on in-built mod support (Creations) for all platforms much like in previous games Skyrim and Fallout 4. This full support is planned to launch early next year according to the blog. The lack of official mod support hasn’t stopped players from getting creative with some modders bringing Thomas the Tank Engine to the game, with a skin for robot pal Vasco and a spaceship shaped like everyone’s favourite blue train.
