As Starfield players explore the Star System and progress further in the story, they come across numerous safes and loot boxes. These safes and boxes have plenty of loot that the game has to offer, and to access them, players need to have Digipicks.
Digipicks are digital lockpicks that give players access to more loot boxes, rooms, or sealed areas that they normally would not be able to access.
Digipicks are pretty rare to find when players first begin the game, and while there are chances of finding them from random loot, there are a few ways that players can use to find hordes of Digipicks so they don’t face any difficulties in gathering loot in Starfield.
How to Get Digipicks in Starfield
Digipicks are one of the most important parts of the lockpicking minigame in Starfield, and for players to avoid losing on an attractive lockbox, they need to have them. Players can often get them at random from research labs, outposts, and possibly near the container or boxes that they try to open. Players can purchase Digipicks from merchants, loot enemies, and scan the interiors to grab them.
Players can visit merchants in places like the spaceports of New Atlantis, such as Jemison Mercantile and Trade Authority, and get a minimum of three digipicks at once, and can visit again after 24 hours as the inventory refreshes, but it is not certain that players will get the Digipicks. Generally, most of the vendors at general stores and Trade Authority stores will stock between two and three Digipicks, but players can visit Apex Electronics, where they can obtain up to eight Digipicks at a time.
They can also loot their enemies after defeating them, as they often have Digipicks alongside ammo. Players will often find these, in need of these so it would be good for them to stock up their inventory. They can also scan interiors for Digipicks by using their scanner to get Digipicks and a few other things that are often lying around. Press LB and look at the scanners for the items with blue outline, and pick them.
How to Farm Digipicks in Starfield
If players aren’t satisfied with the number of Digipacks that they gather, they can also farm them. There are digital vendors whose stocks are restored within 24 hours of local time and sometimes in within 48 hours. If the vendor’s stock runs out, Starfield players can pass the time by sleeping or sitting for the aforementioned hours and waiting for the stocks to get refilled.

Players can again visit the vendor to exhaust them and get all the Digipicks. You can also try visiting general stores and trade authority stores in places such as Neon, Cydonia, and Akila City to get Digipicks.
