He described his Seven Tools for Life, saying that they have always worked and will always work as well. The Terminator star describes them as “a blueprint or road to a happy, successful, useful life.” The name of the book is inspired by his father’s best advice. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been quite open about his relationship with his father, who also served as a Nazi party official.

In his book, the actor opened up about the best piece of advice he often got from his father. “Be Useful, Arnold,” he recalled his father’s words, saying, “It’s the best piece of advice my father gave me.” He shared that it has never left his mind, and with his book, he wants to share it with everyone and pay it forward.

“My friends like to call me Forrest Gump because I’ve met every President since Lyndon Johnson,” he shared. The Predator star shared that every time he met someone influential, he would ask for their advice and listen carefully to the words of wisdom offered by them. “I asked for advice. And then I listened,” he mentioned in his book.

He also talks about how it’s important not to give up or complain after losing something. However, the actor advised to take it as a “learning experience… to get better and smarter and to come back stronger the next time.”

Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life is expected to be released on 10 October 2023.
