Fans have been clamoring for the next GTA title for the past several years, and the impatience in the gaming community keeps increasing as days pass by. Just last month, at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, a fan ran up the stage to ask for an update on GTA 6, before he was escorted away. Such has been the fervor among games, that when an official announcement does come from Rockstar Games or parent company, Take-Two Interactive, there’s anticipation that it will send the internet into a frenzy.
Recently, there was a leak that started doing the rounds on social media with claims that it was a voice note by CEO Strauss Zelnick himself, where he confirmed that an announcement was imminent. The alleged voice note by Zelnick mentioned an announcement for the next GTA title to be revealed next month, October, and the game to come out by somewhere around Oct 2024. The leak was quickly taken down with a copyright claim and many believed it to be AI-generated.
A new bit of unconfirmed news about the upcoming GTA title, mentions the traditional in-game radio to have a channel that plays Joe Rogan’s podcasts. Although it’s a rumor for now, fans have already started voicing out their opinions on what else should be added to the in-game radio, if the rumors are true.

In-Game Radio Has Been A Popular Feature In Grand Theft Auto Games
One of the fan-favorite features in GTA games has been the in-game radio stations that play everything from country music to rock and also stations where players can listen to people get on a call and ramble about random topics. GTA 5 and GTA Online included 18 different stations, while the enhanced version of the game featured a further 8 stations. Of these, there were 3 Talk Radios, available in two exclusive locations on the map.
Adding a real-time podcast to the available stations in the next GTA title could just be a groundbreaking move that not many could have predicted. Joe Rogan’s podcast could add the required layer in the game for players to have an immersive experience.
Real-Time Podcast Could Be A Huge Step Forward In GTA 6
To the uninitiated, Joe Rogan is a UFC commentator and the host of one of the most popular podcasts, “The Joe Rogan Experience”. His podcasts have been graced by politicians, celebrities, sports stars, and even scientists, who have come to the show to speak on a wide variety of topics. The diversity found in his podcasts could just be the perfect choice for a GTA game, though a full podcast might not be easily integrated into the game given the length of each podcast.
Reactions from the gaming community have been mixed thus far, as some gamers wouldn’t want too much realism to be included in-game. Others have lauded the move, even if it’s a rumor at this point. Then there are those who have come up with their own choice of podcasts to be included in-game.

Fans Name Their Favorite Podcasters, Suggest Adding Them To GTA 6
While the entire news about Joe Rogan’s podcast featuring in GTA 6 is still a rumor, fans have already begun pitching in with their views and suggestions. While some fans have suggested Andrew Tate also feature his podcast in the game, others have suggested Theo Von among a host of other podcasters whom they would like to listen to in the game.
As seen above fans have commented on a variety of their favorite celebrities they would like to see featured in the game. This could just be a huge step forward in the in-game radio stations that gamers have been familiar with, from past GTA games. It’s still anybody’s guess as to what other new features gamers could still see in the upcoming GTA 6, whenever the game does come out, which might still be a year away at least.
