It reveals more details about the heart-wrenching story, showcases each character’s unique combat and play styles, and gives us a deeper glimpse of New Eden, the world between the living and the dead.

A Heart-Wrenching Story About Life, Death, Love, and Sacrifice
The trailer gives us a deeper dive into the emotional story players will embark on in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. The journey begins with Antea and Red, two banishers who don’t just share a deep love and partnership, but also a vow to protect the living from evil spirits. As spirit hunters, it is their task to protect the world of the living and lift its malevolent curse.

But when Red’s beloved Antea dies and joins the realm of the spirits both of them have vowed to fight, he is faced with despair, torment, and an impossible decision.

Will he stay true to your conviction that the land of the living and the dead should always stay distinct? Or will he sacrifice the living to save the love of your life? It will be up to you to decide.
Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden Will Feature Two Playable Characters With Unique Skills
As you embark on this heart-wrenching story, you will get to explore the eerie landscape of New Eden as both Red and Antea. As revealed in the brand-new Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden trailer, both playable characters will feature their unique combat styles and abilities.
While Red will have an arsenal of weapons at his disposal, including his rifle, sword, and fire bane, Antea has her supernatural powers. You will be able to use her spiritual abilities such as teleportation and spectral damage zones to fight increasingly vicious enemies and traverse the eerie lands of the dead.
The trailer showcased parts of the different skill trees included in the game that will let you empower and upgrade your abilities for both characters.

As you journey through the eerie landscapes, you will meet a great variety of different characters, each of them with their own stories, backgrounds, and personalities. It seems that you will be tasked to find out as much as you can about each character’s motivations and intentions before making decisions.
It is up to you to decide, whose souls will be banished and tormented forever, and which shall be set free and released from eternal sorrow. In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden every choice you make will carry “substantial consequence” and should “be taken seriously” – so choose wisely.
