The wait is almost over as Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting very close to its release on PlayStation 5 consoles. The Digital Deluxe version of the game allows users to gain early access to the first Act of the title, on September 2nd, and will provide many the relief they so desperately need. As gamers eagerly await the chance to start Baldur’s Gate 3, they will now be able to pre-download the title to their consoles as of August 31st.

For many players, preloading is an essential part of preparing for a release, as it will allow them to download the game ahead of its premiere. This is usually two days before the set release time, which provides plenty of time to make space, and ensure the game is downloaded and ready for the opening night. But even during the digital deluxe early access, there will be quite a few thousand people logging in on day one. Baldur’s Gate 3 will drop during the day across the globe, rather than some locations having a late night or early morning release.
