Arnold Schwarzenegger, currently starring in Fubar is set to make a return in action-thriller, Breakout, declaring to the world that he isn’t done being an action star. At the same time, the Austrian Oak has advice for Chris Hemsworth, who is in a way, attempting to dethrone the 75-year-old star’s Action God status while gearing up to full swing with Extraction 2.
Austrian Oak’s Cheesy One-Liners Evoked That Crampy 80s and 90s Action
From, “Get to the Choppa!” in Predator (1987), “Let off some steam, Bennett,'” in Commando (1985), ‘It’s turbo time,” in Jingle All the Way (1996), to “Hasta la Vista, baby,” in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s savage one-liners have continued to echo even today.
The Austrian Oak, who remained the biggest box office action star for a stretch in the ’80s and 90, somewhere credits these cheesy one-liners for evoking that crampy 80s and 90s action. Now, as the legendary actor feels that Chris Hemsworth is trying to dethrone his Action God status, Hollywood’s Conan has some real advice.
After the Extraction star imitated the former Governor of California in Netflix’s Elevator Ride video clip that accompanied the trailer for Extraction 2, Schwarzenegger critiqued Hemsworth’s “distinct lack of one-liners” as he gears up to take down bad guys in the upcoming movie.
Hemsworth, on the other hand, isn’t keen on implementing one-liners in his movies, but at the same time, dared to copy Schwarzenegger’s famous line from Predator, ruining the vibe and leaving the old man irritated.
Chris Hemsworth Felt Stupid About Recreating The Austrian Oak’s Style
While it’s true there cannot be another Conan the Barbarian, it is also true that Chris Hemsworth dazzled the audience in his action-filled black-market mercenary role in Extraction (2020) – a guy who has nothing to lose and risks his life and limb to save the son of an international crime lord. Now, he is set to reprise Tyler Rake’s action-filled role.
Coming back to the funny video where Hemsworth meets Arnold Schwarzenneger, who has recently bestowed the title of Netflix: Chief Action Officer, trying to imitate his ever-famous, “Get the Choppa” one-liner from Predator, just to impress the Austrian military veteran.
What happened next was rather hilarious as Chris Hemsworth left the scene saying, “Ah stupid” after the Terminator star stared at him for his weird behavior. The Fubar actor did not stop here. He posted another video, reminding folks about his action star status.
Schwarzenegger declared, “No one loves action as much as I do,” also boasting about his “big new job” as Netflix’s Chief Action Officer.” As for Chris Hemsworth, the actor is set to return with Sam Hargrave-directed movie in June. All he needs to remember is, not to mess with the expert in the field of action!
Extraction 2 hits theatres on June 16, 2023.
